Not sure how Zoom works?

If you've not used Zoom before, here is a step by step guide to a Zoom call and how we use it.

What is Zoom?

Zoom is an application that creates private, online meeting rooms that allows us to see and speak directly to one another.

When you make a booking with us, you will be sent an email containing a URL to the Zoom meeting for that appointed time.

How Do I Access the Meeting?

When you are invited to join an appointment meeting via an URL link, it will automatically prompt you to download the Zoom app when you click on the URL link.

If this is the first time you are using Zoom, then join the meeting a few minutes early to give you time to do this.

You only need to do this once as, thereafter, the app is available for subsequent meetings and will automatically connect when you click the URL link in the email we send.

What equipment will you need?

  • You’ll need to have access to a computer, laptop or smartphone, on which the Zoom app has been downloaded (or can be downloaded for the first time - see above).
  • You will need a microphone and webcam (these will probably be built in to a laptop, tablet or smartphone, but you may need external ones for a pc).
  • Headphones or earbuds are useful, especially for guided visualisation sessions.

  • Find a quiet space where you won't be disturbed during the session, so you can focus on the inner work (or have a discussion, if it's a clarity call).
  • If you are doing a Heart Space Room guided visualisation session, or Holistic Spa session then you will also need somewhere comfortable to lie down (or relax in an easy chair), but which still has access to your PC/laptop/smartphone, so you can hear and communicate with us during the visualisation.

What happens on the call?

When you join the meeting at the appointed time, you will be guided into a (virtual) waiting room and then admitted by the host.

What happens after the call?

If a recording of the session has been made, then it will be uploaded into your coaching package folder or your session folder in your personal library.
